Apple Watch Series 11 Overview
The Apple Watch Series 11 46mm GPS uses a Jet Black aluminium case and an Always-On Retina display with wide-angle OLED technology. Apple lists a 46mm case measuring 46 × 39 × 9.7mm and a GPS aluminium weight of 37.8g.
Inside is Apple's S10 chip with a 64-bit dual-core processor and 4-core Neural Engine, alongside 64GB capacity. The watch is designed around health, fitness, safety and everyday iPhone-connected features.
46mm Always-On OLED display, S10 chip, advanced heart and temperature sensing, sleep score, ECG, GPS, 50m water resistance and up to 24 hours of normal-use battery life.
Design & Display
The 46mm aluminium model has a 416 × 496-pixel display with a 1,220mm² display area. Apple specifies an Always-On Retina display using wide-angle OLEDs and LTPO3 technology.
Peak brightness reaches 2,000 nits, while the aluminium version uses Ion-X front glass. Apple says the Series 11 aluminium display has 2x the scratch resistance of Series 10.
Performance & watchOS
The Series 11 is powered by the Apple S10 chip, paired with a 4-core Neural Engine and 64GB capacity. The watch runs watchOS and supports on-device Siri processing plus features such as Smart Stack, Notes and other apps when paired with a compatible iPhone.
Apple specifies compatibility with iPhone 11 or later, including iPhone SE (2nd generation or later), running iOS 26 or later. It is therefore not designed as an Android-compatible smartwatch.
Health & Wellness
The watch includes an electrical heart sensor, third-generation optical heart sensor, blood oxygen sensor, temperature sensor, compass, always-on altimeter, accelerometer, gyroscope and ambient light sensor.
Supported health features include ECG, heart-rate notifications, irregular-rhythm notifications, sleep stages, sleep score, sleep-apnoea notifications and hypertension notifications, with availability of individual features depending on region and requirements.
Fitness, GPS & Safety
For workouts, Series 11 supports custom workouts, training load, heart-rate zones, race route, pacer, multisport workouts, swimming metrics and many other activities. Built-in positioning supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou.
Safety features include Emergency SOS and Crash Detection. Cellular-specific capabilities should not be assumed for this GPS configuration.
Battery & Charging
Apple rates Series 11 for up to 24 hours of normal use and up to 38 hours in Low Power Mode. Actual battery life varies with usage, connectivity, workout tracking and settings.
Fast charging can take the battery to up to 80% in about 30 minutes. Apple also says 15 minutes of charging can provide up to 8 hours of normal use, while 5 minutes can provide up to 8 hours of sleep tracking.
Water & Durability
The watch is rated for 50-metre water resistance and carries an IP6X dust-resistance rating. Apple describes it as swimproof and specifies a depth gauge and water-temperature sensor up to 6 metres.
Water resistance is not permanent and can diminish with normal wear. The watch should not be treated as suitable for every type of high-pressure or deep-water activity.

OtakuFinds Assessment
Strong ecosystem integration, health features and display hardware. The Series 11 46mm GPS combines Apple's S10 platform, a bright Always-On OLED display, extensive sensors and GPS. The main practical limitation is that it requires a compatible iPhone and its battery is rated for daily charging rather than multi-day use.
Assessment based on published specifications and official Apple documentation. It is not an independent laboratory score or a claim of hands-on testing.
