OPPO Enco Air4: Quick Specifications
OPPO Enco Air4 Overview
The OPPO Enco Air4 is positioned as an everyday pair of true wireless noise-cancelling earbuds. It combines a relatively large 12.4mm dynamic driver with Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode and AI-assisted call noise reduction.
The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.4 and support AAC and SBC codecs. OPPO also provides dual-device connectivity on compatible OPPO ColorOS devices, while Android and iOS users can configure the earbuds through the HeyMelody application.
Design & Comfort
The Enco Air4 uses a stem-style true wireless design with a glossy, droplet-shaped earbud body. Each earbud weighs approximately 4.2 grams, helping keep the individual earbuds relatively light.
The earbuds are rated IP55 for dust and water resistance. The charging case does not carry the same IP55 rating, so the case should be kept away from water and excessive moisture.
Sound Quality & 12.4mm Driver
OPPO equips the Enco Air4 with a 12.4mm dynamic driver featuring a titanized diaphragm. The larger driver is designed to provide stronger bass reproduction while maintaining the rest of the frequency range.
The driver has a stated sensitivity of 112 ± 3dB at 1kHz and a frequency response range of 20Hz–20kHz.
Enco Master Equalizer
Through the supported software experience, users can select different sound profiles including Bass Boost, Clear Vocals and Original Sound.
OPPO Alive Audio
OPPO Alive Audio is available on selected OPPO and OnePlus phones and is designed to create a wider soundstage. OPPO notes that this feature does not support head tracking.
32dB Active Noise Cancellation
The Enco Air4 supports Active Noise Cancellation with a maximum cancellation depth of up to 32dB according to OPPO's laboratory tests.
ANC can help reduce everyday background sounds such as street traffic, chatter and background music, making the earbuds more suitable for commuting, offices and general travel.
Transparency Mode
Transparency Mode allows surrounding sound to pass through the earbuds so users can remain aware of their environment without removing them.
AI Clear Call & Microphones
OPPO uses a dual-microphone AI Clear Call system to improve voice capture during phone calls. The microphones and software processing are designed to make the user's voice clearer in noisy environments.
This makes the Enco Air4 suitable for people who regularly use earbuds for calls, meetings and voice communication.
Bluetooth 5.4 & Low-Latency Performance
Bluetooth 5.4 provides the wireless connection, with AAC and SBC audio codec support and a stated Bluetooth range of up to 10 metres.
OPPO specifies a 47ms low-latency figure when the Enco Air4 is used with OPPO phones under its test conditions. Actual latency can vary with the connected device and software.
*OPPO's 47ms figure is laboratory test data using OPPO mobile phones. Actual performance may differ depending on the device.
Dual-Device Connectivity
The Enco Air4 supports dual connectivity on compatible OPPO ColorOS devices, allowing the earbuds to remain connected to two devices and switch between them.
OPPO also provides configuration support through the HeyMelody app on compatible Android and iOS devices.
Battery Life: Up to 43 Hours
Battery life is one of the Enco Air4's strongest specifications. OPPO rates the earbuds for up to 12 hours of AAC playback on a single charge with ANC off and up to 43 hours when combined with the charging case.
With ANC or Transparency Mode enabled, the stated figures drop to approximately 8 hours for the earbuds and 28 hours including the case.
OPPO's figures were measured at 50% volume using AAC and default settings. Actual battery life varies with usage and environmental conditions.
Fast Charging & USB-C
The charging case uses USB Type-C. OPPO states that a 10-minute charge can provide up to 4 hours of AAC playback with ANC off under its specified test conditions.

Battery Health Certification
OPPO states that the Enco Air4 earbuds use battery technology certified by TÜV Rheinland for battery health. Under OPPO's stated test conditions, the earbud battery is designed to retain at least 80% capacity after 1,000 charging cycles.
IP55 Water & Dust Resistance
The Enco Air4 earbuds have an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. This provides useful protection for everyday use and light exercise.
The charging case is not IP55-rated. OPPO also recommends avoiding strenuous exercise that could expose the earbuds to excessive perspiration.
Touch Controls
The Enco Air4 provides configurable touch controls through the supported OPPO/HeyMelody software experience.
| Gesture | Function |
|---|---|
| Single Tap | Play / Pause* |
| Double Tap | Next Song / Take Picture* |
| Triple Tap | Previous Song |
| Touch & Hold | Switch ANC / Transparency Mode |
| Long Touch & Hold | Volume Control |
*Some controls require configuration through compatible OPPO/OnePlus software or the HeyMelody app.
Gaming & Entertainment
Bluetooth 5.4 and OPPO's low-latency transmission make the Enco Air4 suitable for casual mobile gaming and video entertainment.
OPPO's stated 47ms latency figure applies when the earbuds are used with OPPO phones under its laboratory conditions. Gamers using other smartphones should not assume the same latency figure.
Use-Case Assessment
These are editorial use-case assessments, not laboratory benchmark scores.
Compatibility & App Support
OPPO states that Android 7.0 or later and iOS devices can use the HeyMelody application for supported earbud configuration.
